NFL Week 16 Betting Preview and Lines for Atlanta Falcons at Baltimore Ravens• When: Saturday, Dec. 24 at 1:00 pm ET • Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD • TV / Streaming: FOX• ATS Odds: Baltimore -7• Money line Odds: Atlanta +280 / Baltimore -360• Over/Under Odds: 35. 5Why bet on Atlanta versus Baltimore? Desmond Ridder didn’t have an auspicious first start in a Falcons’ uniform. But he did enough for the ATL to challenge the rival New Orleans Saints for the win.
The Falcons leaned heavily on the run game to move the ball, with rookie Tyler Allgeier leading the way with career-high carries and yards, 17 and 139, and a touchdown. Cordarrelle Patterson got a good number of carries, with 14 for 52 yards, also adding a touchdown. Ridder added in six for 38 with a long of 18. Much of the offensive production rests on the shoulders of the Falcons’ run game and what it can do. That could be a challenge against the Ravens’ rush defense, which allows just 85. 6 yards per game on the ground. However, the Falcons have stayed with their rushing attack all season, third in attempts and yards in the league. Throwing all three of Allgeier, Patterson, and Ridder at the Ravens all game should eventually get them someplace.
So although the total is 35. 5, we should definitely consider going under the total. That’s the first play to consider. Both defenses should play very well. The other play to consider is on Atlanta to cover. Baltimore is 0-5-1 against the spread in home games this season. But that’s not the only reason. Tyler Huntley is a great backup quarterback. He has zero targets to throw to. Also, Ridder used his legs to get back into the game against the Saints. Desmond won’t have to throw much in this game, which means the strategy will be ball control.
How To Watch the Atlanta Falcons vs the Baltimore Ravens
How to watch Ravens vs. Falcons online, TVFind out how to watch the Ravens vs. the Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 2. The Baltimore Ravens travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons Sunday. Baltimore seems to have found new life with rookie Lamar Jackson starting at quarterback. Under Jackson, the Ravens have won their last two games, improving to a 6–5 record. Jackson showed off his speed last week, rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's 34–17 win over Oakland.
The Baltimore Ravens lost a critical game in the race for the AFC North title to the Cleveland Browns. They gave up their top spot at the division’s top, which may come down to the season’s final game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Falcons have one win over their last five games, while the Ravens have gone 3-2. It is All About the Running Game for the Falcons It was the first career start for rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder, and while it was solid, he didn’t show anything to deserve the keys to the offense immediately. He didn’t have any turnovers, or touchdowns, completing 50% of his 26 passes for 97 yards.

K. Dobbins finally 100%, having at least 120 yards in back-to-back games, the duo with him and Jackson would be nearly unstoppable. The balance of a regular run game, tied in with the threat of Jackson, brings the offense to a new level. They already had the second-best running game in the NFL, with their running backs struggling. There isn’t much to fear about the Falcons’ defense, allowing the tenth most points per game. They haven’t been able to stop the pass or run, so if Huntley does have to start, the ravens could maybe still win, but it would be a grind-it-out low-scoring game. Ravens Keep in the Running for the AFC North While both teams still technically have something to play for, it is much more real for the Ravens. Whether they win the division or not, there is a good chance they make the playoffs, but winning the AFC North would set them up with an easier road.
The Ravens need to continue winning to secure a playoff spot, especially with tough upcoming AFC games against the Chiefs and Chargers. The 4–7 Falcons have lost three straight games and are desparately looking for a win to finish the season on a high note. Atlanta was eliminated from contention in the NFC South last week after a 31–17 loss to the red hot Saints. Here's how to watch the game:Time: 1 p. m.

The team seems less likely to make it, but the hope might keep them playing hard, despite last week’s loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Ravens Need Jackson Back Last week the Ravens’ passing game could not get anything going. Tyler Huntley went 17-30 for 138 yards and an interception. The offense could only manage three points, with one interception coming in the red zone and Justin Tucker, out of character, missing two field-goal attempts, one was blocked. Getting Lamar Jackson back on the field will be a much-needed boost, with the offense scoring 19 points in his two-week absence. His arm is something the Ravens need, being an upgrade over Huntley, but the running ability might be the bigger of the gained advantages with Jackson’s return. With J.
